The Index Map is divided into 15 sheets along lines of folding of Copy a65 of Smith's (http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/history/smith.html) original map. Clicking anywhere on the map brings up a page image of the designated sheet sized to print on 11 x 8 1/2 inch paper (set to print on landscape). : http://www.unh.edu/esci/indexmap.html
